I just got my 50th birthday present, a month early. I named him "Bowie" He has a blue eye and a brown eye. He spent his first night , last night without "incident" 8) I just brought him in the studio, and he listened to his first song. I played him "devil baby" by Knopfler gently on guitar and sang softly He drifted off to sleep. He is a Border Collie www.dropbox.com/s/9xjt3cuk94onms1/IMG_1607.jpg?dl=0www.dropbox.com/s/fxr8r9ojkx3sfg0/IMG_1606.jpg?dl=0( will fix this so the pictures display here, when I work out how to do that) cheers Wiz

That's a cute dog. I think Jim Williams makes a mod for border collies.

They are not studio pets they are living mobile bass traps! At least that was the case with my beloved 130lb Golden who passed away in Feb. now I have to smaller mixed breeds! In the old days I always loved to run over to Turbisound distributor Audio independence just to see Satchmo the golden!
Great dog Wiz!

I just saw the TV show 60 Minutes and it showed the smartest dog in the world was a border collie. If you work with him you might get him to be the studio gofer.

I have a three legged cat named Bailey. He doesn't come into the studio though. I can't have the cat hair in all the gear, and some artists are allergic to cats and having a snotty/sneezing vocalists isn't productive.

Unfortunately, heavy allergies prevent me from having a dog or cat. It's too bad, I could use a Producer.

Here is my most current studio pup. He is one of three that we have rescued. This is Nipper, sitting on my client, Shawn Hammonds' lap. Both are bad asses with Nipper being a full blood and Shawn being a multiple MMA champ. We have started a great record on Shawn. He has been writing up a storm, so we'll be cutting the rest soon. This cat is a singer and Nipper can sing pretty well too if he gets interested enough! R

Coulter sporting the Equation Audio headphones. Judging from her look, I wasn't done with the mix. Lastly, is Brindle. She came to us from Brenda Lee's street as a stray who was abandoned. Since she is brindle colored, we named her Brindle Lee. She was our first dog that started our "What's The Mutt" contest for Agape Animal Rescue.
