Ok, so I own quite a few of the IK plugs.
I used to own a real API 550b
I own the waves API 550a and 550b
I don't actually care much for either the hardware 550 or the software, they just were never my bag, sold my hardware, don't use the software.
I gave the IK 550A and 550B a try, and thought the same thing.....just not my cup of tea.
Then I gave the IK560 a go.
WHOA!
its killer.
so much so, I think I will buy a real 560 to track with.
It sounds awesome. Best acoustic guitars EQ I have ever used.
I have never used a real 560 but if the plug in is representative, I am in.

I thought all three were nice but I liked the P60G (560) most also.
IK has a credit pack special on until the end of this month so these can be picked up pretty cheap right now.
