And UA deposits a $50 coupon in my account. What a coincidence.

Yeah, spendy, and given that I already own Ocean Way, 224, 140, 250, Exponential, etc etc, it's hard to justify.

Yeah - it would be cool to have some of that gated sounding stuff ready to rumble right out of the box...for inspiration...but I bet it could be achieved other ways.

Sounds pretty good. I can easily get that huge 80's sound out of it quick.

Yup they are going crazy with the fees for plugs. When they brought out the LX 224 I saved the cash and bought two great Yamaha Rev. 500 at Ebay. The Yamha verbs sound much more unique and the best of it all they have rich and detaild ERs. Do not expect by the UAD 33609 that they modeled all the in and out transformers etc. I would not buy it again. Sure they will do one day an MKII-Version and want to make you pay again. Since I use HW I saved a lot of cash.

Just tried this out last night. Damnit, now I want it. Nice dirty, weird verb. Kind of one of those specialty peices I'd love to have. Have to say - the altiverb versions were nice too.

Just fact correcting. (Though it is one of the better plugin compressors still to this day) @johnken Yep, you can surely get those sounds from other processors but it won't be easy. The RMX does a few things better than any other verb, and UA seem to have at least nailed those tricks.
