I just found out a demo my early NYC Glam/Slam band Pandora made was released as a CD by a record company and they've been looking for us for years. The music business keeps getting stranger. Me, Frank LaRocca (of David Johannsen, Tom Petty, Jon Waite fame) Buzzy Verno, (Johannsen Band) and Ric St. James (Plum Nelly and Mick Jones), were in the band. I was 19 then. Take a look, the reviews are stunning, and actually, not far off the truth!:http://www.allmusic.com/album/space-amazon-mw0000051028 Attachments:

If I knew, I could have given them real photos and bios. i am concerned that if somehow this was picked up for placement, like a movie soundtrack, I have no connection to the company. I will find them. I'm not interested in a lawsuit, just communication and transparency.

Martin, there's a section on that website to submit corrections. Perhaps you can set the record straight right there.

it is cool. This was all lost to me until I got wind of the CD. I've ordered one from Amazon and will contact the company. It's also kind of a validation. Despite the singer being in a register only known to dogs and Geddy lee, the music is powerful. I started the band when I was 17. You can actually hear the tracks here: www.allmusic.com/album/space-amazon-mw0000051028Wel, I guess I can add another label release to my bio now. The history and personal situations in the band were heavy. I'm so glad there's at least some record of it in existence. I was surprised by my playing. I sounded like Mick Ralphs meets Mick Ronson.

I'll contact the "producer" and see what's up. This is pretty rocking though, don't ya think? I was 18. This was basically live.
