I also disagree with your pre lockout comment, Matt "the butcher" Cooke was suspended for targeting the heads of Anisimov,Walker, and of course he ended Marc Savards career. Then after another suspension for giving Tyutin a concussion he admitted he needed to change the way he played. All of these dirty hits that caused concussions that resulted in suspensions were not legal, obviously! And all were pre lockout. That hit on Eriksson was just like the hit on Savard.
Some will say Chara's hit on Pacioretty was dirty, I disagree, he did not target the head, he was simply unaware of where he was on the ice. In the heat of play he's not going to say to himself "hmmm there's a padded stanchion, I think I'll knoch him into it"

Leafs stifle the Pens last night!! Real good performance from my boys last night.
Some nights they look great, some nights not so much...LOL
One thing I will say this is a way better team than it was 2 years ago. Good times!;-)

Watched the Jets and Hawks on Saturday, I've never seen a pro sports team quit in a tie game like that.
Winnipeg sucks.

We got Seguin going against the B's tonight. Should be fun. I'd love to see him get flattened by Looch. Not fun having Seguin and Peverly score the shootout goals to win. Total drag. |

Kessel fought the other day!!LOL You know what I'm starting to appreciate about Kessel? The fact that he IS a sucky kind of player. Guys like that don't get injured much, and in Kessels case that's a good thing. Guys are dropping like flies, we need all the healthy guys we can get!!

Yeah the Pittsburgh game had a nice finish! Lots of stupidity though. Neal's knee to Marchands head and Thornton icing that guy.
