I stumbled across these German monitors... they seem to have nice specs and have some nice reviews, but seem under the radar.
I currently am using Focal Alpha 65s, which are certainly decent, but I feel like I have to really 'interpret' them for mixing/mastering. Also they get 'smeary' when I crank the volume to show bands what they recorded.
