If folks haven't watched this dude's interviews I'd highly suggest perusing.
Some of them are particularly phenomenal. Because I'm not familiar or up to date on whos who, I'm so super curious who the heck this interviewer is. Anybody know who the dude is? Sorry for my ignorance.
It's almost like he's holding the world's best current producer's most precious gearz hostage til they evoke insights for his channel. How the heck does he get these folks?
And, also, I hesitate to even say this because it will come off wrong... So I apologize in advance. But his questions come across largely as so much milquetoast! Yet, somehow, plain Jane vanilla questions end up eliciting extraordinary insights.
The episodes with Robert Carranza, Frank Filipeti, El Chiccareli, Vance Powell, Ken Lewis and Brian Lucey were just incredible mangum opuses (opi?) on how humans make music and how people learn to work together to accomplish common aims. Like philosophical shit.
Somehow they just bare their souls to this dude. They bypass the banal question and juice the fruit into it's essence for us. And, I am so much better for it. Not just as a music maker, but as a person to be frank.
