I grabbed it.
Hard to believe it can be that detailed an emulation for free?
Maybe there's a "full fat" version coming and this is the Lite tempter?

I think its just a wrapper on the IR's plus a few algorithmic features but it does sound better than I would have guessed.

Nice! I have the IRs, but all my space designer presets were from an old version of Logic on an old machine. I’ve been meaning to sort those out, but this looks way easier to use.

Wave Alchemy answered some questions directly at the purple place and said that these are all new, in-house captures.
There was also someone who had the hardware and the majority of VST versions and reported that this latest one came the closest to nulling with the hardware.

I don't usually download free plugs because there is no such thing as free..., but? Hard to believe edit; free= every bit of information i have and creating an account, no thanks, i don't believe the claim on the purple site, when people HERE have compared it and claim high Q...? I'll take it seriously

I don't usually download free plugs because there is no such thing as free..., but? Hard to believe To be fair to Liquidsonics, it’s two different frameworks. 7thH is already based off their Fusion IR process that blends multiple IRs to capture more of the variance in the tails, and then 7thH also captures a much wider range of decay times, which I imagine involves at least some time stretching under the hood to cover the sheer number of programs in there. If Magic7 is just regular, well-captured IRs, I imagine it could null more closely based on being more pure to the source. I don’t program DSP so take all of the above with a grain of salt

I did some quick comparisons and, out of the gate, I preferred some of the Magic7 presets to their counterparts in Seventh Heaven. But...the levels are not consistent between the presets. Sometimes Magic7 was louder, sometimes Seventh Heaven. Volume differences obscure everything, so care has to be taken to get a meaningful result. But when I level matched (by ear) there were still several instances where Magic7 was at least a peer of Seventh Heaven, if not edging it out. There seems to be a density and immersion in Magic7 sometimes that my ear really likes. Other times, it feels like a total toss up. But that's saying something, because Seventh Heaven is awesome.

For requirements the Wave Alchemy site just states "Mac OS / Windows". Does that mean any Mac OS will work?

The 250 and 140 plates sound pretty killer too. Damnit. And they’re $19.

I downloaded it this morning. Installed at the beginning of my session, but only had a chance to try it briefly. The artist has put some AHs at the front of the tune and asked for a big space around it, so I called up the Magic 7 and rooted a bit through and found something that said 22 second decay. I didn't not ring for 22 seconds, but it was big and lush and the singer loved it. I gated a copy of the snare and sent it for the second half of the song, and it was cool, but I'll want to put a more unique thing on the drums. It seems like a pretty simple reverb, that sounds good. I'm all for that.

Downloaded it. I have no need for any more reverbs but... it's a reverb and the price is right. :-)

Demo’ing the others. These speak to me. I like convolution in general and these sound great and have nice clean, simple GUIs.

Yeah, these are sweet. I'm going to pick up Glow, Pulse, and Tapewave for sure. Probably Radiance too. Dawn I'm not sold on needing.
But these are rad in general.

I'm impressed! Great sounding verbs for vocals. Chambers and plates really stand out. Including the ducker control was genius.
