There is always SO much that I would like to aquire - but after quite a few years of spending, I'm now focused on getting the most out of what I already have, and more importantly, sink any spare $ into maintenance
So I'm happy to sit out a few years without spending.
Unless... I find a bunch of Coils to add to my existing 3.

Keep trying for general improvement on Lead and Backing Vocals. Speak some basic Italian.. Hmm… Will try to think of a cool Gear list for 2025.  Live and Studio. Chris EDIT: Not quite end of world but deduct $180 from 2025 Budget. Accidentally left my Laptop/EV 767a/Scarlett Solo/USB and XLR cables.somewhere. Had to buy Black Friday Laptop PC (plus case)… As it wasn’t returned to me. Oh well. So far then at new RNC Compressor comfort “Level”.  |

Iron Age Audio QPP A second Samar VL37a A smaller body acoustic that I actually fall in love with (keep trying to like J45s because I love some people’s recordings of them, but I never really gel with any that I play) I forgot, I should've added the Iron Age QPP to my list! Haven't heard one in person, but they seem to be very well-liked and the cost per channel is pretty unbeatable I'm trying to put together a really compact mobile rig for maximum inputs/minimum space. I want to pick up an Arturia Audiofuse X8 IN (8 channel ADAT Converter) to use with my Apollo Twin. I have a 2-space rack with an AEA RPQ3, but wanted a 4-channel pre to add to that, and the Iron Age seems like the best option. I also have a BAE 1073 DMP, so with all of that I would have 9 inputs with a 2 space rack, Apollo twin and the Arturia unit (footprint similar to the Apollo Twin). The QPP is sweet. Felt like a more lush sounding API or old Quad Eight (grain of salt there, I only used a Quad Eight desk once). It was a great complement to the Great River and Stam 1073 channels I’ve got. |

I’m sure the ModFM is infinitely more difficult to learn than the Digitone, too…but Jomox analog filters and vca’s make the pure digital stuff sound cheeeap. All of the cv inputs are nice too if you already have a Eurorack setup. |

I really want an RS660 still for vocals or bass, and either (ok both) elysia mpressor and Overstayer SVC for drum parallel mangling or aggressive sound design. Mayer 456HD 500 units or possibly the 2RU Mastering version. Anyone using these? A Bricasti M7 still, despite having an increasing amount of plugin imitations available. The Benson Studio Spring reverb also sounds fantastic. And mostly, I want to get my Eventide Orville back to life. One of the best FX boxes I've ever used, and sadly the CPU and/or memory chips are no longer working. I hear Beamish can revive these, that's a long trip from Taiwan but maybe my best option. I also want the chandler RS660 I also want a API TCS. |

-Wish I had the dough for any and all EAR stuff now that Tim is dead.
Only thing I can justify is adding more I/O but truly I'm good. If anything, lately I just buy small stuff for writing and creating that are intriguing like the Soma Cosmos.

A few modular synth things:
Disting NT, Jomox Mod FM, Joranalogue Collide, ALM Cizzle (Casio CZ), Malstrom Wyvern
I've held off on getting tube pres, but I'd love a pair of Coils or Locomotives or Hazelriggs. Also, a Compex or an upgraded Steve Vai Eventide for a dirt cheap price!
For the most part, and after adding I/O and another patchbay this year.....I'm content!
A dream list would probably include a Zähl AM1 Console with some CV Channels, and CVPA Plate Mic for good measure 😅.
