Getting Ready for my weekly run to some of the local pawn shops and Music shops. Will I find any great buys? Will I feed my addiction ? How bad is my Cheap Dynamic addiction? Well it has been Said that what Blackbird and John Mcbride is to the Highend condenser, I am to the cheap Dynamic !

I remember going to pawnshops as a youngster and being able to find all kinds of deals.
Now, pawnshops also sell online so there are no longer deals to be had since they both know exactly how much people will pay for an item (Ebay research) and now people can purchase things over the internet, so they have zero incentive to price items lower to move them out of the store as someone will just buy it online instead.

Most do very little on line, selling is not the average pawnshops main line, it's loans. Deals are all about getting there and building relationships At least half my gear , including most of my Highend purchases are from pawn shops. |

Yeah - in the internet age, I'm not sure there are many deals to be had anymore. Although, I did get a Lexicon NT 212 for $450 several months ago...
