Now that I swapped over to the Orion 32, selling this one. Probably easiest to sell local (Austin, TX area) but I do have the necessary boxes for shipping.
This was a stable rig for me (with maybe a few minor quirks like all of them) and easily recorded 16 simultaneous tracks. I just wanted more inputs...
Universal Audio Apollo 16 (Silver, firewire) Quad DSP, in excellent condition. Includes a Firewire (IEEE 1394) PCIe card and cable or you can still buy the Thunderbolt add-in card (TB2 or TB3 - both will work) and add it in if you've got a Mac or a PC with TB. This is 16 line-level input and outputs (so you will need outboard preamps or a console). Separate analog monitor outs and AES/EBU digital outputs. High quality A/D conversion up to 96KHz. I've used this for countless songs and albums but recently upgraded to more channels (otherwise I've had no problems with this setup). This is a great unit for recording drums since you can get 16 channels through the same interface (and not have to worry about latency differences of multiple units). If you register this to your own account (which is necessary if you want to purchase plugins) then you will get the "Analog Classics" bundle included.
Dell XPS 8940 (i5-11400, 16GB RAM, 1TB and 600GB SSD drives) that was working perfectly with this interface. It is currently reinstalled with Windows 10 and all drivers/UAD plugins (I think it's at 11.3) and all you would need to do is install your DAW of choice (I used Pro Tools Studio). All you would need are preamps and DAW software/license. Cakewalk or Reaper should also work great on the PC. I never activated the Luna license since it requires Thunderbolt.
