Yeah - so sad. Proof again that money doesn't bring happiness.

Friggin bummer, why is it u don't hear Vladimir Putin hung himself, it's always a truly talented good person that's crushed by some inexplicable pain. Lots of bad news this summer, cheers to better days ahead. RIP RW

Yeah, but can you imagine Being RW and realizing that you were at some point going to lose control of your body? If Robin had a recurring theme to his act, it was Caos, but a Caos he controlled, I sure he couldn't imagine how he could be Robin and have PD! Imagine being Linda Rondstand at not being able to sing! He was an addict , and we his audience were is favorite drug, I m sure he thought PD would take us away from him, the Robin we love couldn't ajust to that. The saddest thing is the look of empathy I see in every photo I see of him, if only he realized that we would have had that same empathy.

Yes, very sad.
There are some hints that he was bipolar, not only depressive and alcoholic. Bipolar disorder has the sad most negative statistics when it comes to suicide. One out of five bipolar people commit suicide. This disorder is quite more common among creative people than most people think, be it because you have a wider horizon of extreme emotions, that support your art, may it be because you need a more 'manic' obsession for your art to not give up the hope to get to the top beeing a professional artist, beeing able to make a living out of it...
The high art of acting, tragicomedy, with it's wide range of emotions is somehow one of the most preferred genres of bipolar actors, a friend of mine, a bipolar actress, once stated to me... Robin Williams extraordinary acting, his touching play, his wide range of expression, and the countless hours of quality entertainment he brought to us will be unforgotten, i think. May he rest in peace.
