Anyone get in on the preorder for the Lakeside? soyuzmicrophones.com/lakesideI love Soyuz mics and am very interested to get opinions on these once some folks get their hands on them.

I'm sure I'll review one at some point. I don't really have the money, but would love to stack 4 channels of this to use with their ambisonic mic. I've got enough Soyuz mics at this point to where I would like to have at least two. The price is pretty solid as well, I was expecting it to be closer to $2k.

Looks beautiful, and the inside looks tight and clean as well. Nice big transformers. I'd love to hear some examples, I'm kind of imagining in my mind that Soyuz transformer sound. But I could be way off base. Let's get some examples up! I probably won't be getting this Soyuz one anytime soon. I couldn't resist, and took the plunge on the CVPA one andersmv pointed me to (yup dude, I went for it :-) Not that this Lakeside will be even remotely similar to the CVPA one, but only so many bucks to go around. I still really want to hear this Soyuz through some if their mics though :-)

I found this very fine demo of a Russian gentleman singing "oh ay" into an sm7b > lakeside. It gets especially spicy at 7:33.
If anyone comes across some better examples, please post.
