Pair of these for sale at a really good price. What’s the take on these? Worth $3200 ish? Only had the 12s and they’re a really nice buy…preferred the Amphions. Just wondering if the 20s would change my mind.

Some might argue the real ATC "thing" is the mid range driver on the 25As and above. That being said, I worked on passive 20s with Yamaha P3200 for a long time in one room of a multi-room place that also had 25As. I like that they had a more uniform picture of the music as opposed to a massive scope on the mids with the 25As.
I've moved away from ATC, though. I don't think I ever truly enjoyed working on them. Probably the most sheep-like gear buying decision I ever made was sticking with 25s for 7+ years.

I like the 20's but imho for studio use the starting point is the 25's as the mid driver is the ATC "thing" and USP.
And it's not that the mids stand out or are louder in any way the mids are just extremely detailed and have a very high resolution and considering 80% of issues lay in this zone having X-Ray vision into the mids is a very useful tool.
But really you've got to try them - I love ATC monitors 25's, 50's 150's .... they all sound incredible to my ears and are my ideal tracking, editing and mixing tool.
Other people will say they don't like the forensic mid driver - it's so subjective.
I've tried and had demo's of just about every brand of studio monitor and over the last 25 years ATC has stood out to me as my favourite studio tool.
