I didn't see any threads on here about this new product. I knew McLoone for their nice mastering switcher, now they have an outboard mix bus box called the Bus Driver (https://mcloone.eu/busdriver-details.html). It's more or less a recording console center section with a transformer that you can send mixes and stems to for some color. You've also got an input and output pad, as well as a "boost" option to get in and out of it appropriately depending on how you're gain staging into it. They also have the Mini Bus, which is a small 10 channel summing unit that drops the level down appropriately on the stereo output so you can stem out and go into your microphone preamps at mic level for some color. Another great option, especially for the price. There's obviously a lot of other cool things you can do with the Mini Bus.
My video review is below, I went through some different configurations with the two units and multiple gain staging options on a full mix and a drum bus. I think it's a really cool option for the money, and between the Mini Bus and Bus drive, you have a bunch of ways to sum out to the Bus Driver as well as your other analog gear. I really enjoyed how hard you could hit the Bus Driver, it does a great job at shaving off some transients, tightening up the low end a bit and opening up your top end. I felt like it hit above its weight class considering the price.
