Welp, i just picked up abby road 2 strings pro, my axiom 61 is no longer supported in PT(of course) and i kinda needed to upgrade anyway, any suggestions please, i don't need to control the daw so much as i want something with modern connectivity that gives me as much expression control as possible for the spitfire stuff

Following, I’d like some recs as well. I have an old Novation Impulse 61, but wondering if there’s something that’s a major step up.

Not perfect, but I like and use the NI keyboards with "normal" PW & ModW controls. Also they have 8 rotary controllers which I've come to use and appreciate. In addition, I've come to use the Korg NanoKey2 "keyboard" sitting on top of the NI keyboard (I use the 88 key) for octave switching. Handy - and I can keep the NI keyboard always in the same octave.

This NI keyboards are super nice. I found another M-Audio Keystation Pro 88 for $100 on Craigslist. Thing likely weighs like 80lbs…but it’s the only weighted key controller (don’t know if it’s like officially weighted but it feels like a piano) that’s under $800 or whatever.
