What about Sibelius? I mean I know it's Avid.... but seems like maybe it can open/import Finale files?

Ugh. This happened to me with Studio Vision Pro Files from Opcode when it became obsolete after OS X, and I didn't have a backup computer - and I didn't export sessions. this was also back when a 200MB drive was huge and expensive for home, and strip silence was the rule to reclaim hard drive space...
Options: I'd start exporting everything into MusicXML which other programs should be able to import correctly. There may be some tweaks necessary, but guessing this is the best format vs. MIDI, etc. Per Avid this is the only way to import Finale files into Sibelius.
Buy a used Mac mini that you keep at the current OS and Finale version so that you can buy yourself time. I had to buy a used Mac mini to install Snow Leopard to load an older version of Pro Tools to open .pt files and then save them as .ptx files. Total PITA, but for $125 worth it.
Sorry for those affected. Coda had a long run...

the title of this thread seems so redundant.
