Repairs through Apple are dumb expensive and a lot of times they say “they can’t fix it”, right to repair is another issue, Just get a new or used M1 max and call it a day, it’s a beast on vid, I have two 6k and one 4K cinema cameras that don’t make it sweat, take it from a dope who paid $6,200 for this in 2021 that can now be had for about $2k edit; man, just realized if I sold it today I paid $2k a year to use it since summer 2021, what a deal! Good thing I’m keeping it, don’t buy new and someone else’s questionable decision(me)could be ur gain?

I've personally never had an experiece where apple couldn't fix/replace something - their service for me has been stellar. My work machine (and MBP) refused to boot at one point and it was covered by corporate apple care. This was lunchtime on a Thursday. Got it to an apple store that afternoon. It was repaired and on my doorstep Monday morning via FedEx 2-day. I've never seen such good service.
Nothing about apple is inexpensive, but I have nothing bad to say about the product or their service.

I’ve had great apple care support: remember you can call them about any support related to your covered apple product. I call lots about my m1 mini and logic, always prompt, professional service: money well spent and the hardware is covered too: win, win !!

Then they had me on 3 way phone call with Apple and Goldman Sachs for 12 hours(not a typo) 12 hours! Trying to figure out how they F’d up, at one point I said “ i’m losing shit tons of work time money as a little guy while I’m spending hour after hour on the phone with two of the most profitable companies in human history so you can figure out how you effed up”, they gave me a thunder bolt cable for my trouble
