Bump….? These are discrete class A inductor based eq’s, nobody?(I never heard of them till they crossed my path either lol)

These look quite nice. I’ve been looking for a good 500 series EQ — checked out Purples offerings.
The Iridium looks even nicer. I’m a little possed that I just missed the introductory price.
Did you go for it?

Did you go for it? yes, i got 2 of them but i'm moving the whole rig right now and haven't even had a chance to use em, i'm sure you know they are swinging input inductor based so should behave a lot like passive pultecs i'd hope, all my 500 eq's are swinging input, it makes it hard to F up when tracking unless you're really trying! |

realgearonline.com/post/383202/threadI just posted a few first impressions of the Interphase Audio EQ2.2 VU, a rach mount unit that I thibnk has the same inductor EQ tech as the 500 series Iridium. IIRC the Iridium 500 is the one of the 3 EQs they offer which has inductors on all 4 bands. Genuinely tasty tones!
