Press "Choose a Song" and the artists and song titles are in English. It gives you mulitrack versions of the songs. You can mute tracks and listen to each track by itself. Cool.

No joke haha. Enter Sandman.... love how the pieced all those guitars together like that, amazing mixing because I never realized that and I've been listening to that song since I was like what, 6? I mean a long time. That's the first song I ever learned to play on guitar when I was 10, well that and Smells Like Teen Spirit.
Really cool site. How did they do that? Was that the same thing as how they ripped it all off Guitar Hero?

Fascinating! I guess they got 'stems' of the mixes off someone and just put them up there. Black Hole Sun confirmed what I had always believed: the high backing vocals were all sung through a guitar pickup. For those not familiar, it has been customary in hard rock/metal for some time to periodically take your guitar, plugged into a tube amp cranked up to max, and sing into the pickups and get this kind of effect. Especially live. It's really cool!

I'm guessing they took these from the game 'Rock Band' which came out several years ago... you could 'play' the guitar, bass, drums, lead vocals, or harmony vocals, so they had to have access to the multi-track recordings for it to work. I was always hoping someone would do this... Thanks for the link!
edit: More likely a combination of songs from 'Rock Band' and 'Guitar Hero,' the later versions of which also supported multiple instruments. The cool thing is there were around 1,700 songs released for Rock Band, so there's a lot more where these came from, including 67 Beatles songs which I believe can be found via google search. Too bad Led Zeppelin never allowed their songs to be used.
