I have no direct experience but two AE’s I know, and respect, like them a lot. In fact I’ve heard nothing but good things about all the Sound Skulptor stuff. I have the RND 542’s, it would be cool to see how these compare.

I'm a Sound Skulptor fan, having built and using many of their kits. I have a pair of these. Haven't tracked anything through them yet but I really like running a mix through them on the way to my Tascam cd burner.

I built one a few years back. I really liked the technical design of and features of it and had high hopes. I always found that on its cleanest settings , it was adding too much low end information. The low end bump was far larger than any tape machine I’d used. That said, I’d love get another pair in the room and give them another try.
