Does Melodyne ever do sales?

I've moved from "Melodyne is useful but annoying" to "ok, I get it now" to "I'll try out the polyphonic instrument editing" to "holy crap, how is this possible" to "dang... this thing is expensive."

So, I've got Essentials already and I know about the crossgrades, but do they ever do sales of any significance? It's hard to figure out how I can drop that kind of dough on a piece of software right now.
