I messed it up and can't delete - help?

Before I deleted my comment, thinking I deleted the thread, I said:

Apologies for the miss-post.

The inspiration is that I shipped the Genelec 8330A's off to my office for portable video shoots/teleconferences. Can't stand them. I have a pair of Shape 65's here that I boxed and at the time did not like as much as the LYD 48's. I have empty slots so I unboxed the Shape 65's and put them in place. son of a gun if I don't like the voicing better and they have the same level of detail as the LYD48s. I thought the LYD's were warmer and fuller previously. However, there is an upper mid ring in the LYDs that I didn't notice before and wouldn't have against the Genelecs - the Genelecs are crazy in the midrange.

However, putting the Shapes up, they ARE more similar to the Dynaudios (much more than the Genelecs) in that they are not crazy mid-forward. I played with the adjustments and ended back to flat - no adjustments. they have a little more top than than the LYD's but as I as listening, I began hearing that zing in the LYDs. Weird. Considering the 2-way vs 3-way comparisons and price, I am pretty surprised. My room is treated with six GIK bass traps and other absorption. Nothing crazy in the room to my ears or to SAM/Sound ID.

I may have a mix a project on them.

I also may shelve Sonarworks/Sound ID and just go commando....
