Hey All,
Tuning a tricky vocal, he’s quite raspy in places and I notice Melodyne drops some of them an octave and then I can’t really tune it to make it sound great. Anyone know if there’s a way to fix that?
Thanks!

Not an expert but can’t you just draw it in where you want it to be?

I can but then it sounds an octave above the correct pitch.

To clarify, when it shows up an octave below, it is close to pitch, but when I try to tune it sounds wonky.

There’s a little wrench tool icon that allows you to drag the note to the proper place. It doesn’t change the pitch it changes the reference so that melodyne knows where it’s supposed to be. The octave thing is pretty common with melodyne
