I pulled one of these in to demo because the return period is much more generous than Fractal's. I didn't spend a lot of time trying to make the "the best tones". In fact these are whatever the defaults are except for the Twin. I didn't add any of the effects or use any of the factory presets. These are just amps There are more but these are the ones that I am most likely to use in some form or another. I also just sort of noodled along and didn't worry about my playing. I honestly think the amps are pretty good but who knows if I will keep this thing or not. It would make an awesome live rig though with all the ways you can set it for separate song parts and whatnot. You should be able to access the folder but let me know if you can't: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1pfIvLektMVFBdAwfuFUeoPtkjXULDlEB?usp=drive_link

A smaller store I go to had one of these set up as it's mostly an acoustic guitar place in a bluegrass area. Electric = Bad and they don't want to scare people away . Tried a tele through it with headphones and was pretty surprised, it sounded really good. Back when I was in apartments and bedrooms, I definitely would have bought one on the spot more than likely.

I used my G&L Asat classic to record these clips.

Tim Pierce’s Demo is much better than mine. 😂
And, he has uploaded his presets for people to have for free.

Man that sounds great. It’s my birthday and I’m going to have a hard time doing something completely irresponsible. I was thinking about a PlayStation 5 with NCAA 25…but a Tonemaster is trending up.
Honestly, lately really digging into learning great licks with the axefx has given me more joy than any other pastime. There are some presets on axefx that the two guitar players from Brit Floyd shared- and use in their show. Learned some of the famous Gilmore licks - and that really has reminded me of the joy I used to get in creating. (The irony is I’m not creating lol).
Somebody confirm that’s a great idea…
Btw - makes me a little nervous there are like ten used ones for sale at guitar center.

It does sound very good, but it’s like $3 grand all in with taxes up here, that’s a lot of dough ?

Johnkenn I am willing to bet that the used ones were quickly returned when they first came out. There have been several firmware updates since and while maybe not at the same level of the fractal updates, the TM Pro just also seems to get better and better each time. Far be it from me to talk you out of something but you already have the Axe and it’s also amazing sounding. Maybe splurge on something fun but non music related for your birthday. I am glad that Pierce did this video because my sound samples were sloppily done and I didn’t put enough effort into them to do the unit justice. I am definitely keeping it and will be offloading a bunch of other stuff. EDIT: you seem to have snapped out of it.

It doesn’t make sense for me to put my resources into guitar stuff, because that’s not how I make money. A $499 Behringer 369 makes a lot more sense.

While I am not a video game person, the play station sounded like a great purchase to me if you are into that sorta thing.

When I think of Tim Pierce I think of him through his beloved Divided by 13 RSA 23 guitarampemporium.co.uk/product/divided-by-13-rsa-23-head/Now that is an amp I'd love to own! Tim sounds amazing through anything (I'd want him as a player to sell my products if I made guitar products) - he has amazing chops and a lot if followers (me included) and influence. This Fender unit does sound pretty good.
