Please excuse the horrible image quality and lighting. ibb.co/GJFtRSFI’ve set up a “booth” in the corner of my room using corner traps, fiberglass, rockwool, and maxtrap (limp mass/ resonator/ broadband) So far my results are decent, but my room is small nearly a box 12 x 10 x 8’ I find best results singing out in to the room with this setup, would you have suggestions to potentially improve it? Am I doing anything wrong or something you might try differently?

Looks alright to me.
I do something similar with some GIK panels.
Try turning around in the booth so the three panels against the wall are behind you - the mic "hears" what's behind you less so what's behind itself - unless you are using it in omni pattern of course.
If it sounds right - it is right.

Yeah, that looks usable.
I used to go down rabbit holes trying to get the most acoustically pristine vocal recordings. In all honesty, once you've eliminated audible reflections and tamed the low end/low mids a bit, it's really not that big of a deal.
Try a few different positions/mic placements and go with what sounds best. Don't let the pursuit of acoustical perfection paralyze you. This was a tough pill for me to swallow as a singer myself.

I made a little "vocal corner" in my home studio that is just a bunch of 2" and 4" thick acoustic panels (home brew made with Owens Corning 703) and it honestly sounds better than 1/2 the commercial places I occasionally track vocals at, so really if you are strategic, you can get excellent results without a huge project or expenditure.
What issues do you feel like you are still having?

What issues do you feel like you are still having? Well I realized that getting out of the corner, it reduced some low end “boominess” in my recordings, although it is easily mitigated with a HPF. I track with compression on so it definitely increases the room tone, & I would prefer to not have to do too much HPF and get it cleaner at the source. My room is small 12x10x8 and I actually hear a less “boxy” vocal when leaving my door open, and being slightly off center away from the corner, instead of directly in the corner helps. Although my setup being in the corner is way more convenient for me. These are pretty minor changes and I could be overthinking this all. The comments here are definitely reassuring that i’m on the right path.
