The record in question was Love and Theft. The vocals sound great, imo. I have seen live Dylan shows where his vocals were pretty much incomprehensible. I think I may have a greater tolerance for singers that aren’t blessed with a great natural singing voice though, because I have heard me. Pretty it ain’t!
