Slumming with Mogami Silver here. Nice to have something to blame.

Problems with Gotham cable? Just curious. I just call Comissioner Gordon. How does Batman like his cables? Black. Like the night. (Cues "The Joker") Chris He wouldn’t like mine then… Gray are 15ft, Black 20ft, and Red 25ft. Orange is instrument cable, as to make it obvious it’s not a guest’s.

Since mine are all DIY Purple Canare L4e6s for mic cables and Blue thinner Canare Starquad in racks, they all have custom heat shrink lables with EN Audio & length. Next heat shrink lable printer is going to have graphics capability!

I got both Sommer and Gotham 7 conductor tube mic cables. They are both great. The Gotham might be slightly less flexible, but not by much. Both are way better than the original stiff cable.
Question: Anyone have any experience with releasing the female sockets from the connector? It seems like the sockets were inserted AFTER the wires were soldered to it. They are sort of set in pretty deep so just cutting the cable and trying to resolder might prove difficult. Probably the wrong forum for this, but maybe one of you guys has some experience with Tuchel female connectors?
