I have never used one of these but they intrigue me and look like something that would be a good addition to my setup. Does anyone here have any experience with them and if so, what are your opinions?
I have a very high regard for the Great River stuff. I have 2 channels of their MP-500NV mic pre's and absolutely love them.
I already have 2 channels of Capi BT50's so I have a good start.

Haven’t used the GR much but know the original quite well, it’s not a mastering EQ, it’s not a tone monster aka Neve 10xx or API, it’s not an SSL or something sterile . it’s a damn good console EQ that sits in the middle, it will solve problems yet give just enough mojo to put a grin on your face.
If I could have the Harrison 4 band & filters in a single module I would be a very happy camper.

I have 8 in my desk and I love them. They aren’t extreme but the filters are awesome and the all round smooth sound is lovely.

I’ve used a pair for a long time. I love them. Like others have said, they are smooth and flexible. Not super coloured, not super clean. I like Eric’s characterization “a damn good console EQ”. I think they sit in a sweet spot on the clean/coloured spectrum. ‘Smooth’ is always the first word that comes to mind for me.

Amazing EQ. Had one for a few years and wish I hadn’t sold it. Basically gives you the flexibility of an SSL with a much, much sweeter tone. You can just turn knobs and it always sounds good.
