If you haven't already found them, Dan Worrall has made two recent videos on the Bettermaker BM60 reverb plugin
...and his follow-up when he decides that it uses a convolution engine rather than algorithmic methods:

Thought the guy in the first vid said it wasn’t convolution?

It’s a convolution. Or maybe an algorithm with a bunch of long irs from the pcm 60. There’s no lex chorusing or modulation but it sounds quite good.

I know some people hate it but I loved my PCM60 and kinda regret selling it. Granted I def have many great verb options these days

IMO, I question "why" they chose this to emulate? The PCM60 was my least favorite Lexicon, and I've owned most of them except the 960L. The PCM60 only got used on the smallest room. Which was pretty good. But not Bricasti room good. Was not sad to see it go.

There’s no lex chorusing or modulation But isn't that why you use Lexicon reverbs? Edit: It’s a convolution. Or maybe an algorithm with a bunch of long irs from the pcm 60. There’s no lex chorusing or modulation but it sounds quite good. The PCM 60 doesn't have chorusing or modulation I've never used a 60. I didn't realize that the 60 didn't have chorus or modulation. I see now why maybe some people didn't like the 60.

I think a good amount of them were sold to PA companies and venues.

btw, the WaveAlchemy "Pulse", which is inspired by the PCM60, has both delay and modulation (i.e. flux). I used it on a couple tracks today.

I had 4 of the original PCM -60's and used them exclusively as a verb for my Furman HR-16 Headphone system.
4 x of the 8 stations I had, would have one of these so that, the musician could have their own reverb setting, and full control over it just for them. Four was usually enough, Drummer, Vocalist, Maybe a guitarist, and another just in case.
That's all I could use them for.

That's all I could use them for.

Yup the PCM series was the affordable lexicon till the LXP series came out in the late 80’s.
