Audioscape: constant ordering

I really love my EQPA’s and D-Comp.  The EQPA’s are on anything when tracking (mostly just tone with no settings engaged) and of course the live on mixbus (usually a generous bump at 10 or 12K and a minor bump at 100)  Funny, the D-Comp see’s most action in saturation mode…it does this widening thing to the stereo field when strapped on the mix bus…even at low levels.  I do also like it in mild limit on acoustic guitars when tracking and drum bus when mixing.  Had the Optocomp and loved it but ended up selling it because I wanted something stereo and with bypass…otherwise it had a phenomenal tone!  I bet pretty much anything they make is damn good.  

Actually, I do have their Classic DI and it didn’t wow me, but I’m probably not using it quite right…and, it’s also really just a DI so I wasn’t expecting to be wowed anyway.  Have to give their customer service a crazy amount of kudos…after I bought the Classic DI, they came out with a new one with an added feature a few months later…they contacted me directly to ask if I’d be interested in a free unit, of course sending mine back after receiving the new one (they paid shipping both sending the new one and returning the old one, and I’m in Canada!)

On another note, just got an email saying that they’re starting a trade in program as well.  Really great company all around!

Damn, wish I had knew that before I bought my WT72’s!  Don’t get me wrong, I love my WT72’s, but I was drooling over the Golden58 for months and could never land one, then they did the raffle for the last one and I hoped the universe had my back to win, but nogo …so I found a great deal on a used paid of WT72’s instead.
