Fun for a rehearsal/ writing room. For your studio, I can't see how it would help. I have a small Mackie 1402 for true zero latency monitoring - but this would be a very big monitoring board! |

Its initial design was for monitors as well. I can think of random use cases if it was something already in one's possession but definitely not a piece I would actively seek out.

Is that one of the dual function Yamaha’s? If so no hell no it was a compromised design to begin with, if you want a versatile dual function that could live in the studio second gen Soundcraft series 2.
