Similar to Fuser…a little easier to set up though…one knob…I feel like I got better results for ducking with this. I still don’t really understand what I’m going for with the attack and release settings in Fuser - I assume it’s the attack and release for the action of the ducking - but Pure unmask has a speed parameter that adjusts them together. I used it in a mix today Kick/bass, steel/piano, AG/EG…and was able to toggle on and off all instances to compare back and forth. I didn’t expect it, but the non-effected version actually sounded a little wider than with the plugins on it - but it also seemed smeary…Pure Unmask seemed to tighten things up in a really good (subtle) objective way. And it’s hard to screw up. www.sonible.com/pureunmask/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwu8uyBhC6ARIsAKwBGpQBpCXUveZNxxJvXp1VHggeKcJTYdJUD5xW90yLnF3jxhcq4C4PNr0aArLUEALw_wcB

But it's cool technology. I wonder about the stability of this tool.

It worked fine for me...I also tried the True Balance and True Level...I have Ozone with Tonal Balance, but I really like the True Level plug...shows you on a graph where a reference song or genres land in LUFS and Dynamic Range...and then moves in realtime as you make adjustments to the mix...

Preferring this over fuser…but it could be because it’s a super fast attack and release…need to try more apples to apples comparison.

Never been impressed with sonible…bought their suite a few years back, never got into them…bought Smart EQ4 because they gave me a really good upgrade price, and again, I wasn’t impressed. Should have demo’s them…cool idea though. I get way more use from Soothe…would be very interested if they were to release something similar to EQ4, meaning like mixing multiple buses together for you.
