Totally spitballing here...someone might point out that the idea is useless...but would a plugin-only subsection be cool? Might be cool to have a dedicated place to find a used whatever and I don't have to look in 5 different places...

Yeah reasonable plugin sales would be good. Right now the only place is KVR. Some of them are worthless now like PLugin Alliance (under 10 bucks is the only fair price) but even some of the cheaper ilok ones like Softube and PSP are only worth 5 bucks now but if you're not using it, you might as well sell it for a beer.

the guitar suites, synths, fixer upper stuff, mastering bundles, are all worth money. just many developers have devalued their products like crazy to sell football stadiums of them.

No harm, piloting a plug in section for a bit and see.
As to their used value, they are worth what someone will pay, baring in mind transfer costs and I don’t think there is any protection legally if you buy a used plug and it never shows up.
So, I think you would want a clear use at your own risk disclaimer and you/RGO have no responsibilities around the sale etc., caveat emptor.

iLok charges $25 to transfer a license, but last I checked caps out at $50 (so if you bought several it might be worth it?) so I always thought left a lot of plugin transfers dead in their tracks. And for UAD you have to sell it attached to hardware... do other plugin vendors really allow you to sell stuff easily (and for how much)?

PA is 20 bucks transfer fee but has the constant 30 dollar sales. I forgot what they top out at. |

I tend to view plugins as having no resale value. I have hundreds I bought and never used. It takes so much time and effort to sell them that it just doesn't seem worth the hassle. In many cases, the transfer fee is more than the plugin is worth, so you basically are giving it away.
I wish that has persuaded me to stop buying them, but I bought three more this week.
