Ya, Vocalign is a life saver and perfect for getting those tight, double tracked vocals ("make me sounds like Dave Grohl"). Stupid easy to use, it's the best option I've found unless you're a Melodyne wizard and have been doing that for decades (that's definitely not me).

Agreed with the above. Get Vocalign and never look back.
The only case where I use Melodyne to time align is on the lead vocal after I’ve comped & tuned. I like to turn the click on and listen section by section for words or phrases that need a gentle nudge here or there, whether it’s scooting them ahead/back a little or stretching vowels to be longer/shorter.
Everything else gets Vocaligned to the lead and it takes minutes.

Vocalign Ultra also adds tuning so you can match a tuned lead without having to manually tune it as well. It's not the most natural tuning, but saves a lot of time on parts that are just buried in a stack.

I asked a similar question here about a month ago - actually asked if there was anything better. And pretty much got a resounding "no". And after doing research I agree. I had a year trial of Vocalign Project 5 and it expired (my buddy got it when he signed up for something with Landr but never used it). I bought a perpetual license. I use it a lot. Search around because just a month ago Thomann had the best price I could find ($71) and now I see it's $116. I think it was on sale... And get a trial first?
Vocalign can do weird artifacts sometimes (just like Melodyne can) - so if it glitches, undo it, maybe move your selection around a tiny bit and try it again - but usually it works fine the first time for me. Much faster than doing it manually.

What DAW are you using? Cubase has a really good vocal alignment function built in.

Also, sometimes surprisingly usable on doubled acoustic guitars or DIs. :x

What DAW are you using? Cubase has a really good vocal alignment function built in. I'm not a Cubase user but I agree, the Vari Audio works really well, whether for time or pitch alignment. Every DAW should have this!!! There is also a script for Reaper users, (MPL Align Takes) but I have never managed to get a correct result with it and the interface is ugly and unclear (much like everything else in Reaper, the developers seem to have poor taste in GUIs)
