If you could only have one... HW on tracking or mixing?

Tracking by far, wish I’d have stopped at the shelfords and 2a’s. It’s not like I don’t like the rest of my chain cause you can do some raw hi-fi stuff with it but at the end if the day you’ll compact it down to fit in line with everything else so why does it matter?

A bit of harmonic junk on the way in eases the plug pain though.
