I'm also using the LYD48's, in a midfield setup (roughy 2m)...I then use LCD-X's to nail the low end and a Bose soundbar connected via adat to the Apollo for a more 'real world' check. Although, this week I got the IK ARC Studio (which I am setting up now actually), so with correction and their virtual monitoring options, I'm hoping to ditch the soundbar. The Dyn's are good monitors for sure, but I find myself longing fo ATC's someday when cash permits...preferrably the 45's, maybe the 25's will be fine with the LCD-X's for low end checks (don't want a sub). But damn those 45's are hot...I'm a sucker for good looks!  |

LYD48's and a stack of Avantones on the ride side of room. I boxed the Genelec 8331As and took them to work for video production. I have a set of Shape 65s in boxes.
