That chamber is not very large, as I remember. It's been several years since I've been in it. So, I'd think a stereo capture or source wouldn't be much of a width thing. More of a 'space' thing, putting some air around the sound. Nothing like Capital, or even Sunset.

Could be nice for adding a bit of “room” to something to move it back in the mix. But no width to it.

Could be nice for adding a bit of “room” to something to move it back in the mix. But no width to it. It's basically a closet with a ceiling that moves.

I didn't get to see the chamber when I was there.. but did you go into Studio D? the old massenburg room...man that thing freaked me out.. especially in the vocal booth... I couldn't spend more that a couple of minutes in there... cheers Wiz

There’s a Chamber as you walk out of D’s control room you have to walk through the chamber to get to the tracking space. That one is small but goes up 2-3 stories.

I couldn't spend more that a couple of minutes in there... cheers Wiz I was in there once. I got to hear the unreleased 5.1 mix of Thriller in that room. It didn't bother me to be in there, but I've been fascinated with it for so long, before getting the chance to see it that I think I wasn't really absorbing it.
