Laugh at your own peril. Holy shit. I mean, it's over. Listen to this shit. I was going to do my yearly Sound ID Trinnov comparison and noticed this was new on the Sonarworks site. So mockingly, I downloaded it...and my mind is completely blown. Completely. I just tried one scruffy bearded dude on a song I'd finished. It's a plug and you let it capture the original vocal. So, the better that vocal, the better the results. (So you'd have to at least be able to sing it) Then you pick your singer and it spits out (at least so far) a perfectly recorded and EQ'd version of the vocal. The one I've done so far kinda sounds maybe a little computery, but if I didn't know, I'd probably just think it was some over tuned production. Listen to this clip. I just picked a guy and this was the result. He's a little too metal... drive.google.com/file/d/1ZlA-TmMPfyvs2zrE1SBgbY2VGsqYYzLI/view?usp=sharing

“Heart” “cry” etc the accent is spot on, killer punchy dynamic response. Is that baked into the original? Song is awesome by the way

Well look at it this way; if it works well on speech, it’s an election year and this will scare the living crap out of the political types so they may actually do something.

When I first heard it, I thought "Tyler" had taken liberties with the hard pronunciations, but I think it might have been there a little in the original. Here's the original. song.space/3ggp4c

With most pop music being so overly tuned, what does it matter if it's completely AI driven. At some point, we are going to be creating and recording music just for our own pleasure. The market will get swallowed up in inexpensive AI artists. It's already at the point where it's damn near impossible to make money in the music industry as an engineer or artist. Project studios in the 80's were making $50 per hour. Most are lucky to get that now. You got to do it for your own self expression and enjoyment first. There may not be a market for most of what we produce soon.

Yeah that's pretty crazy. Gives me a Clay Davidson vibe almost. Of course he'd sing the hell out of that, now I want to hear him do it. Wonder what he's been up to. Anyway, I guarantee most regular people would be fooled by that.
Really enjoyed the real version.
