The T1 transformer front side has only 7 pads on the reverse: assembly guide says to solder all 26 pins (counting header pins on both sides of the transformer), but with no pad on 6 of them, it seems I should only solder the 7 and leave the rest untouched?

It's been a while, so let me check later on this weekend. Sorry for the delay. You can probably get a quicker answer from Jean-Pierre at Sound Skulptor directly.

Thanks for looking! JP hasn’t replied to me yet, I emailed him direct last week.

I built 2, but it is a while ago. I seem to remember I didn't bother with the non-pad pins.
By the way, i messed up the orientation of U6 on one of them. Not recommended. He even put in "the small coil must face towards Q4" in the instructions, but I thought I knew better. I didn't. It did survive though.
Nice sounding units.

I only soldered where there was a pad.

Thanks! That seems to be the only thing to do.
