Toying with the idea of getting a new stage mic for myself. I love the RE420 but have had the occassional run-ins with bad phantom power on some less than desirable systems and had to resort to my backup dynamic.
Anyway, I was wanting to look beyond the usual suspects and came across the Sontronics Corona. I'm totally unfamiliar with this manufacturer but seems like they make some good stuff. I like that at least some of their mics are actually manufactured in England for example.
The aesthetic is its own thing for sure, so let's not worry about that. I personally think it looks cool (and I hate fake retro typically) and would work for a new project I'm taking out on the road. But what about the sound?
Reviews are sparse but positive. Nobody carries these locally in Texas that I can find so it's gonna be buy it to try it type thing if I go this route.

Looks cool (a bit like the Ear Trumpet line). I’d just be concerned how much it could impact the visibility of the audience to the singers face. Seems a bit too big. Oops. Just saw your reference to aesthetics comments. Sorry!

Just saw your reference to aesthetics comments. Sorry! Haha. All good, and that's a good point. Could see becoming frustrated by not being able to quickly grab it as well.
