I just heard that Clarence Kane of ENAK repair has passed away. Talk about a wealth of knowledge, but fortunately it looks like his legacy is continuing with a younger guy taking over! Sad that he's gone, but I know his legacy is going to live on in a TON of mics out there! I included a picture of my 1932 RCA PB-90. When I bought that mic, it got destroyed in shipping. Although it looked bad, it still worked almost perfectly! I sent it off to Clarence to get repaired and got to talk to him a bit during the process and learn some things along the way.
Post your mics that Clarence worked on!

ENAK did a BK-11 for me, but it’s last 6-7 years so I think it was the new guy. Did speak to Clarence on the phone several times, nice guy. RIP.

Saw this in TapeOp and thought it was a bit odd. "The family owns the ENAK name and will determine its disposition, they further want you to know enak.com is currently pointing to the wrong website". It's pointing to the Pitman Mic page, which I assumed was who was taking over for Clarence. The last thing I want to do is start drama, but that seemed really weird to me. Anyone have some info?
