Here is a 15 seconds sequence of Hans Zimmer - Live - Interstellar Suite Part 1 song. Great live album and great show. With all respect to the mixing and mastering of Stephen Lipson here are three samples. First version is CD master 16/44, second is a TPDF dither version of downsampled HiRes file, third is downsampled and dithered with Mozzaik Dither v1.2 16bit HiRes file, and fourth is HiRes file.

Here is a 15 seconds sequence of Scottish Chamber Orchestra - Wind Concertos - Clarinet Concerto Rondo Allegretto song. This is my reference album. With all respect to mixing and mastering of Linn Records here are three samples. First version is 16/44 CD master, second version is downsampled and dithered with TPDF dither, third is downsampled and dithered with Mozzaik Dither v1.2 and fourth is the high res version. Used downsampler is built in the house. Listen for differences and choose what you prefer.

It's not meant to be heard ideally, our ears are used to hearing tones and dynamics, so they tend to not pick up on things like dither. It can usually be heard in fades and reverb tales especially in records with more dynamics and space. Without dither you get quantisation error, which can be heard, so we need to dither whenever reducing wordlength.

Other improvements are support for multichannel and AAX and AU versions.
