Can’t say I’ve ever heard dither… It's not meant to be heard ideally, our ears are used to hearing tones and dynamics, so they tend to not pick up on things like dither. It can usually be heard in fades and reverb tales especially in records with more dynamics and space. Without dither you get quantisation error, which can be heard, so we need to dither whenever reducing wordlength.

We have refined the algorithm that is going to be part of Mozzaik Dither v2.0. Other improvements are support for multichannel and AAX and AU versions.
