Not sure how many of y'all are TR fans, but I find him a bit of a kindred spirit. Alot my life has been sound-tracked by his work.
I have really enjoyed this long in coming new album RIO. I have listed to the entire album 25-35 times since I have got it which is rare for new music for me.
It's like an old favorite.
For a musician/writer/producer of any age it is an exceptional album if you like Prog-ish textural pop, and for a man in his 70's it is inspiring.
For me anyway.

I am just stoked you can get new music like this in 2024 -
One of the original home studio musos/producers, he certainly pushed early digital recording boundaries with the YES' TALK album.

Hell yeah! Just had time to briefly listen to a couple minutes, but it sounds like the things I love about TR-era YES.
Very cool to hear new stuff from him, thanks for sharing!

90125, Big Generator, Union, Talk and this album RIO, a common spirit! Considering 90125 were 75% Rabin demos, it's easy to see why.
I haven't been inspired / hooked by an entire new album in some time, so it gives me some life force in my writing.
I bought the CD. I have been listening to my CDs and original cassette releases lately just for the vibe it brings.
