Was sad to hear this morning that Eric Carmen had passed away. While I preferred his earlier stuff over his later power ballads, his unique and catchy sounding vocals on hits like " Tonight, - Go All The Way, - I Wanna Be With You" always struck me when The Raspberries were doing their early 70's power pop of melodic songs with crunchy guitars, in the style of The Who. What a unique and great voice.

An unappreciated talent, it’s funny how with every in memory of piece, someone is going “he did that, I love that song”. He will be missed.
