You recall my ongoing problem with the Silver Bullet plug in. Louder was smart, as PA is completely responsible for the plug in and support.
I have a bit of a jaundiced view of PA, as for a firm that is all about software, I find had a cumbersome support process with a tedious list of questions.
Anyway, the plug in is still regularly blowing my ears off on session play, thrn needs to be removed and reinstantiated to play normal volumes.
Almost a week so far, crickets from PA support , anybody had a current support experience: similar delay ?

They can be hit or miss. I've had a recurring problem with authorization for demos that it took them a little bit to acknowledge, and then they fixed the one particular demo authorization but I still have the overall problem.

Ya, describes it well: hit or miss.
Think I’ll either start muting Silver bullet when saving project or stop using it.

There isn't any. They'll fix your bug a year or two later. If third party developer for them fixes it, Plugin Alliance / Brainworx won't post the new version for a year. Stick to established stable programs. My most used plugins that get stuff done are the old Sony Sonnox Oxford plugs and Tokyo Dawn. Goodhertz, U-he, Softube Weiss sometimes too. The Fuse plugs are cool. MDWEQ and the MDWDRC2 occasionally but they're far buggier.

Am I crazy? I thought I read the Silver Bullet wasn't developed by PA, just distributed(?) by PA. Is that not the case? If they aren't the developers, would they still be the best source for support?

I reached out to Louder than lift off first and they told me for plug support to contact PA, I wasn’t pleased.

Matt, I'm blanking on this: are you in Logic? And what's the problem again? I know you mentioned it in another thread, I just can't remember.

Mark, I warned you about the brown acid, but no !!! Yes logic, plug works fine, I really like it for mastering. Problem is, when starting a saved sessions, now maybe half the time , like twice as loud and heavily distorted. If I uninstantiate sb plug, problem gone and I can then reinstantiate, pick desired preset and it plays fine. but on first session play after opening , volume/distortion happening 50% of time: it’s just tedious !
