Yeah you probably already own like 10 spring reverb plugs and this is not as flexible as the Klanghelm and U-he ones but…
The fuse has a kick option to simulate kicking the amp. This makes it a cool fx throw. Did they take an ir of that?

That's kinda hilarious. I remember making a record, on tape, where we wanted that sound. We used a Heathkit amp head, and the band's guitarist lifted it on one side and let it come down on the cabinet to jostle the spring. So there were a few different rewind "Try again, that was late/early," moments.

I bought VREV-63 last night and had a little time to play with it. I like its tonality. I’ve been using a combination of the Fuse VREV-305, PSP Nexcellence, and U-he Twangstrom. Those plugins are adjustible, but I appreciate this version’s straightforwardness to getting a Fender spring sound.
I think the hidden controls are simple enough to understand while allowing for tweakability. The controls on Nexcellence and Twangstrom aren’t as intuitive at first glance.

I bought it yesterday because at this point I tend to buy anything from Fuse, and the kick feature is one I wish was on the Klanghelm.
Can't comment on whether or not its IR but the kick and does produces a different version each time which is kind of cool. The other parameters of course affect its sound as well.

This makes it a cool fx throw. Did they take an ir of that? Dan It seems most spring reverb plugins are going for the smooth studio reverbs over the sproingy amp style reverbs. I've been asking for something like this for a long time. I think I saw Ray on another site say that this thing is hybrid. The initial attack is an IR and the tail is an algo. As far as the kick, I don't recall another plugin doing it off the top of my head, but I have a pedal from EHX that does it. On theirs, I think the kick sound just kind of repeats that same sound again and again. I believe on the Fuse it will change quality depending on how long you hold the button.

Just saw there’s a free Tens Jr from Klanghelm. Definitely downloading that.

Just saw there’s a free Tens Jr from Klanghelm. Definitely downloading that. The free Jr is good but best just go with the full version. It's really nice and so much more versatile. Used the new Fuse in a mix today (snare). Perfect.
