Been using it on my two bus mastering with its mastering presets, sounds great !
the problem is is that often when I load a file from logic the volume is very load and sounds very distorted.
If I remove the SB plug in and reload it goes back to normal .
Any thoughts ?

If you're mastering with it, you need to turn the headroom dial up a lot. The plugin doesn't have a lot of headroom with that dial at 0 I've found. My hardware(mk1) is similar, you have to gain stage it correctly(gasp!) as you do with all things. So you can either turn the signal down going into it, or use the headroom one. Usually better to trim signal down going into it and bringing it back up on the backside.
Try both and see what you prefer.

Thx: maybe, I didn’t make myself clear?  I had already set up a level etc., that I liked, saved and closed the session. it’s on reopening , that the saved settings seem lost and the volume/distortion anomaly happens: I’ve changed nothing, just opened session and hit play and this happens like 25% of time? |

That was a not reading clearly issue.
Could be a logic bug. I've never had that issue with protools or wavelab. So could be an AU plugin bug. I'd report it to the developer directly.
