These strike me as a bit physically small to avoid resonance and mode problems, but I’ve never actually heard one and would be delighted to be proved wrong there.

Yeah, not much out there on them. They look slick for sure but that doesn't always translate to sounding incredible. And, I hate preorders. I have a current one that's about to break my patience (and no, it's not our buddies south of the US).
