Stayed home, went to the parade saw all the Swifies and thought best to watch on TV. Was asked if I wanted to work the stage but turned it down.

Glad you’re safe! Saw a video of them handcuffing someone. No idea if that was THE shooter. But if it is, it looks like it was gang violence or something and not terrorism.

Thanks Tony, now the answer to your question, not all shootings are terroism, if your intent is to kill them and not terrorize just strictly kill . If you wanted to scare them first, it’s terrorism. Sarcastically bringing my first political science teacher to tears since 1987. |

You never know, it could be a political stunt as far as the people involved. But I will tell you this, its not beneath them to commit terrorism for political reasons. BLM is another example of that.

My phone was blowing up and Cell service was sketchy. While I do have the phone numbers of many here I do not have everyone so in addition to a text group I posted here. Most know I live in downtown KC. Some know That for many years Union Station was literally our backyard. I felt a simple quik post was appropriate to simply put my friend mind at ease. I respect JK’s no politics policy, while as the victim of an attempted mass murder I feel I offer a very unique perspective on the issue of guns and violence in the US I will keep them to private discussions unless John asks me to go there. I will say this I ran into a friend who with another friend were within 20 feet, both are responding very differently but show classic signs of PTSD. I ask rhetorically, why can’t we have nice things. |

Yeah Eric, nothing wrong with your post or the intent behind it, I think the response here is more about the very strange and unnecessary speculative detour into the motives of BLM and the assertion that terrorism is one of their motivating factors. That might be rather upsetting to some people.

I have Post-Traumatic Stress myself.
Partly due to some life events. (Including being a Teller at Armed Bank Robbery)
If I had decided to be an MD...
Definitely no further than "Internal Medicine" (most likely Family Medicine with my Personality) as the specialty.
Not "Emergency" or being a Pet Vet!
